The Deaneries of Oxford City

This website is for the Deanery of Oxford and the Deanery of Cowley. Both are in the Church of England Diocese of Oxford. The Deanery of Oxford covers the North and West of the city of Oxford, extending out to Kidlington and Botley. The deanery of Cowley covers the East side of the City of Oxford and extends northwards to include Elsfield and South East to include Blackbird Leys, Littlemore and Sandford-on-Thames. The Anglican churches in this area come from a very wide range of traditions. All are within the Church of England. They are working together (both with each other and with other churches) to be effective in serving God and  the community. This website is devoted to aiding communications within the deaneries, sharing information about existing ministry initiatives, and helping to bring people together to develop new ministries.
